Although Dathan Tool & Gauge can supply standard gear cutting tools the majority of our products are made bespoke for specific client requirements.
We offer a full technical and design consultation service and can get involved at any stage of the project – from designing the actual gear cutting tool from scratch using our unique designed software, to taking an existing product and reverse engineering to ensure gears can be kept in service – even on a 100 year old traction engine!
Working closely with our client’s throughout the design process can also result in an improvement in productivity and, more significantly, a reduction in costs.
